Alexis Milne is a London-based artist concerned with issues surrounding contemporary political protest.
He uses video and performance to direct his work/s. By placing himself inside his performances, he re-visits his youth.
Milne influenced his work by looking at films such as: 'Made In Britain', 'Stations of the Elevated', 'Wildstyle' and 'Beatstreet'.
Examples of work include: 'The Delinquents'
- video series
- 80's/90's
and 'Riot' (2010)
- based on the G20 demonstrations against the financial systems

What interested me about Alexis Milne's work is the unique use of performance and video. I found the way he connected with his work in a physical way intriguing.
